(146 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 13.53% water. Laurel Hill is
located at 30°57'55" North, 86°27'33" West (30.965369, -86.459149)

The racial makeup of the city is 77.23% White, 21.68% African American, 0.18% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.73% from other races, and 0.18% from two or more races. 1.09% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 223 households out of which 30.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.8% are married couples living together, 17.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.1% are non-families. 25.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.46 and the average family size is 2.93.
